Nosh Network (“Nosh”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Bhrugu Thakkar, Bharuch, Gujarat, India.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it when you use the Nosh app or website (the “Platform”). By using the Platform you agree to this Policy. We aim to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and other applicable law.

  • Account data: name, mobile number, email, city/area, and a hashed password.
  • Seller data: business name, category, address/locality, FSSAI details, owner/contact and payout details.
  • Location data: approximate or precise location (with your permission) to show nearby sellers and enable pickup.
  • Order data: items reserved, amounts, pickup times and history.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment provider (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Device & usage data: device type, app version, IP address and analytics events.
  • Referral data: referral codes and referrer information.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To show nearby sellers and items, and to process orders and payments.
  • To connect buyers and sellers for pickup and fulfilment.
  • To send transactional messages (order confirmations, pickup reminders) and, with your consent, launch and marketing updates.
  • To operate the referral programme and rewards.
  • To improve, secure and analyse the Platform.
  • To comply with law and to prevent fraud and abuse.

4. Who We Share It With

  • Sellers — the minimum needed to fulfil your order (e.g. name and order details).
  • Delivery partners — where buyer-paid delivery is used (name, address, contact).
  • Payment processor (Razorpay) — to process payments.
  • Service providers — hosting, analytics (including Meta Pixel and Google Analytics), and messaging/SMS/WhatsApp, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Location

Location is used to show nearby food and enable pickup. You can control location permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without it.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools (including Meta Pixel and Google Analytics) to understand usage and measure our marketing. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymise it.
